This title has to do with “no person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance” (University of Arizona, 2021). This all has to do with Title IX of the educational amendments of 1972 to the 1964 civil rights act (University of Arizona, 2021). By promoting this Title IX on campus overall, it doesn’t matter where you come from, whether it be a low or high socioeconomic status or depending on what financial/health standings you have. The university will accept anyone and everyone so long as they meet the educational requirements. I think this has to do with individuals in the community that have to do with health. I say this because it doesn’t matter what you look like or how you want to identify. You are welcomed into the University of Arizona.
