The BPM scenario

In the “HOW” section of Chapter 14, your book describes three pieces of information that must

be evaluated before starting the BPM effort: The BPM scenario (first discussed on p. 67), the

maturity of the organization, and the scope of the architecture. In this Assignment, you will focus

on the first two.

For this Assignment, write a 4–6 page paper (not including title page or references, double

spaced) that includes the following components (use the subheadings below):

The BPM scenario

Which of the four scenarios fits your selected organization and process the best? Explain why.

You will need to refer to and use the material from Chapter 11.

The maturity level

Which maturity level best describes your organization? How do you think this will impact the

BPM project?

thinking. The points in this section will partly be based on your ability to apply the concepts

discussed in your Assignment to the specific circumstances and details of the

process/organization you selected. Writing in general terms without applying the concepts and

analyzing your specific project may get you points in the content section, but you will lose points

in the analysis section.
