Multimedia Development – Module Assignment
Create an electronic presentation using MS PowerPoint. While you are encouraged to be creative, you will be graded on your ability to demonstrate an understanding of the module content and the ability to use a software application (PowerPoint) to create a presentation. All listed items below must be present and demonstrated in your presentation.
I. Content Expectations – Your presentation should provide an overview and explanation of the following concepts:

____ How digital audio is created from sound waves
____ How animation works
____ How digital video works
____ Choose a minimum of two design principles and provide an overview
Note: You must cite your sources using MLA or APA citation style. Additionally, you must write in your own words (paraphrase). Copying and pasting text from a website is never acceptable and is plagiarism.
II. PowerPoint Functionality Expectations – The following PowerPoint functionality and features should be included in your presentation:
____ Create a New PowerPoint file, name the file “Multimedia_YourLastName”.
____ 10-12 slides (minimum) to include a title slide and slide listing your references
____ Different slide layouts, as appropriate
____ Slide theme
____ Footer on all pages that contains the date and your full name
____ Images throughout that help to convey and represent concepts
____ Picture effect
____ Cropped picture
____ Compress all images/pictures
____ Slide transitions
____ Animation effect, where appropriate
____ Motion path
____ PowerPoint and general design principles used throughout

III. Submit your assignment – Access the module and upload your finished PowerPoint file to the dropbox.
