I personally have always believed that committing a crime regardless of reason, circumstances and background is a choice. As I read and learned about these theories, it seems like a way to give criminals something kind of theoretical reasoning as to why they committed the crime. How do you really justify crime, I go back to simply reason such as, one commits robbery, out of greed or maybe need. Some of these theories may have some basis psychological, sociological, social process and conflict, are all theories from which I can take a little something to understand how a crime came about.
